Mobile Legends Funnel Tactics

What is a funnel and how to execute it during a match?
Funnel is a winning tactic in Mobile Legends. In order to understand more about this, let us learn together, go deep into the match and see how it works and why it is necessary to have a good rotation to win the match.

What is funnel? A Funnel in Mobile Legends is composed of a carry hero and a support hero. It is simply letting the support in the Middledle lane to hold the wave as much as possible so that the carry hero could simply rotate.

It is from wave clear to jungle and jungle to wave clear, the aim of this strategy is to simply focus on one goal: the hard carry hero turning into a strong one or to a strong carry state. The support would just have to do the best as it could to hold the wave until the hard carry comes after his jungle rounds.

Let us go deeper into the game by understanding the rotations and set-ups in order to win the match. The 1-2-2 set-up is simply one on top lane, two at Middledle and two at the bottom would either be together or one must do jungle. Whereas, there are two main heroes so the objective is to make the two main heroes to get stronger to carry the game. This is the most common and an old set-up of the game. This is commonly used in ranks prior to epic. This strategy depends on the team’s decision to execute. Usually, carry heroes are at the Middle-lanes, same with the support or tanks. While top or bottom lanes are posted by semi-carry heroes. The carry hero along with the tank or support, roams around to gank either top or bottom lane to help secure the kill or when lanes are pressured. This strategy simply imply playing safe while leveling up quickly. The effect can only be seen during late games because in order to get stronger the hero must avoid deaths and protect turrets. This strategy results in epic comebacks.

Another rotation is the 1-3-1 this is unique despite its aggressive gameplay but it has a higher rate of success. It is also called the funnel strategy. It composes of 1 fighter at the top, another hero at the bottom and 3 heroes, which includes the tank, support or mage and the marksman, which is why called 1-3-1. Though, it requires team cooperation in this strategy. The primary objective of this strategy is to give all the buffs to the main hero or the hard carry in order for it to get strong or in other words, funneling all the power to the main hero or the hard carry in order to win the game that is why it is called a funnel strategy. The gamer should consider taking the enemy buff too. Like how they pursue the red buff but expect to counter it by the opponent. Also expect an early fight so probably the top lane will go to the rescue, giving all the buff to your hard carry also consider not letting the enemy team get their buffs but be careful not to let the main hero die frequently for it will not level up quickly. The good thing about this strategy is the gank advantage while on 1-2-2 example top lane is being pressured so Middle lanes to the rescue the enemy top would be outnumbered it will be like a 1vs4 match or on bottom lane 2vs4 match.

The main hero should make use of good rotation between jungle and creep wave. It should cover the whole space in the map in their territory to farm fast, earn gold and level up quickly to have the advantage to win the match.
